We throughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back again sometime. We also ordered slices of the Black Forest cake & the Lemon berry marscapone cake to go home with us & but were moist & flavorful. Entree’s ordered were the Stuffed Cabbage (delicious but the steamed veggies left a bit to be desired), the Jager-braten (fork tender & so tasty, the cabbage was not quite a favorite but the potato dumplings were lovely) and the Pork Jager-schnitzel (very good, the spatzel with gravy was amazing) and a side of Sauerkraut (large portion, was peppery, crunchy and delicious). We ordered the Grilled pork belly & Potato pancake appetizers, the pancakes were an immediate favorite while we believed the pork could have been a tad crisper for our liking. But our waitress was superb, very pleasant and very helpful to first-timers. The hostesses were a little less than friendly being very adamant about us needing a reservation, we explained that their website had been down that day and we were not aware of that. We visited for the first time on August 3, 2023.
